Riff the Fox Teether baby toy by Riff Raff Baby recalled over safety concerns including risk of choking

A baby toy has been recalled over concerns it could present a serious hazard to children — with a risk of choking, suffocation or death.

Riff Raff Baby’s ‘Riff the Fox Teether’ has been recalled as it does not comply with mandatory safety standards.

The brand’s other teething products have not been included in the recall.

The recalled silicone teether for infants is shaped like a fox, with an orange body and white and black colouring on the face and ears.

It was sold by Riff Raff Baby online both nationally and internationally.

The tip of the teether’s ear may detach from the teether, creating a small part that presents a hazard.

There is a risk of choking, suffocation, or death in young children if the ear detaches while a child is using it.

Consumers are urged to stop using the product immediately and keep it out of children’s reach.

To arrange a refund and return the product, customers should contact the brand by calling 0493 721 478, sending an email to productinfo@riffraffbaby.com or via the brand’s website.
