An unnamed source has told how Robert Irwin is apparently planning to embrace a temporary move to WA to be with his girlfriend.
The 19-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin is reportedly moving to Perth to be with his girlfriend Rorie Buckey, also 19, while she completes her studies.

Woman’s Day has reported that the distance between Irwin in Queensland and Buckey in WA has been “hellish”.
“It’s a real pain,” the source told the publication.
“Right when they really want to explore their relationship, they have this hellish distance between them.”
Buckey, the niece of the late actor Heath Ledger, is reportedly “stuck in Perth,” meaning that for the couple to move forward it would need to be Irwin who would temporarily compromise.
“The logical solution is for Robert to move there – at least for a while – and her folks are adamant he stays with them.”
“(Buckey’s family are) a very close-knit crew, and if Robert is willing to make the sacrifice to move to the big city for their daughter, they’re going to do what they can to make it work.”
Irwin is currently living at Australia Zoo with his mother Terri, sister and brother-in-law Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell and niece Grace Powell.
The source claimed that Terri Irwin feared the couple, who began dating in 2022, was moving “too fast”, however, she knows her son would be in “good hands” with the Buckey family.
The matriarch reportedly wishes to invite the Buckey family to Australia Zoo for Christmas to get to know them better.
Neither Irwin nor Buckey has addressed the report.

The couple, both 19, were first spotted on a date night in Queensland in November 2022.
Irwin and Buckey were seen purchasing burgers and fries from Grill’d before heading to the beach to take in the scenery, New Idea reported at the time.
They have also been spotted at Australia Zoo and at Perth Airport, where Buckey and her family are from.
In July, the couple made their red carpet debut at Sydney’s Mission Impossible premiere, putting on a loved-up display as they stepped out for their first public appearance.
As photographers snapped away, the wildlife warrior sweetly wrapped his arm around his girlfriend and they shared a laugh.
