Rolls-Royce Accident: Rolls-Royce rammed into truck at 200 kmph: Dead truck driver did nothing wrong

The speeding Rolls-Royce Phantom rammed with an oil tank truck near the Delhi-Mumbai-Baroda Expressway near Umri village, Nuh, Haryana, on Tuesday, i.e – August 22, 2023. Earlier, it was reported that the oil tanker was travelling on the wrong side of the highway before it hit the luxury car. However, the CCTV footage has revealed the truth and it has been found that the truck driver was at no fault.
In a CCTV footage, Rolls-Royce can be seen blitzing at 200 kmph and hitting the rear of the oil tank truck. From the footage, it is clear that the luxury car lost control and hit the oil tank truck in the middle lane. The Rolls-Royce immediately caught in flames and the oil tank truck flipped.
It was around 11.15 a.m. when the Rolls-Royce Phantom crossed the Hilalpur toll plaza on the Delhi-Mumbai-Baroda Expressway, according to CCTV footage.
Police officials said that three passengers in the Rolls-Royce were taken for treatment in Gurgaon. However, this major collision left the driver and the helper of the heavy vehicle dead, identified as Rampreet and Kuldeep, respectively, said the police officials. Furthermore, they said that the Rolls-Royce was part of a 20-vehicle convoy with two escort vehicles mounted with red beacons and had security personnel in blue safari suits.
