Royal Enfield has launched a new connected vehicle solution called ‘Wingman’ in India, which will be initially deployed in the Super Meteor 650 cruiser motorcycle. The manufacturer plans to make it a standard fitment in the future models.
The customers booking the Super Meteor 650 from November 16, 2023, will receive this feature as standard with a marginal increase of Rs 6,500 on the ex-showroom price.Existed owners of the motorcycle can opt for the fitment of the device by paying a nominal cost.

The Wingman is a connected vehicle solution that operates through the RE application, supported by telematics hardware. It is compatible with Android and iOS devices. It offers real-time information about the motorcycle’s health, including fuel level, battery status, and service alerts. Other features include engine on/off alerts and GPS-enabled location tracking. Additionally, it also provides insights into daily rides, riding patterns, trip information, and notifications for sudden braking and acceleration.
