Superstar Hema Malini recently turned 75, and she celebrated the occasion with a grand bash that saw the who’s who of the industry walking down the red carpet to wish her. Names like Dharmendra, Salman Khan , Rekha, Jaya Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tandon , Rani Mukerji , Vidya Balan, Rakesh Roshan, Jeetendra, Sanjay Khan and wife Zarine Khan, Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana, Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan etc were spotted at the party, along with Hema Malini’s daughters Esha and Ahana Deol.

It is a well-known fact that Salman Khan is not one of the most punctual individuals, but he is extremely close to Dharmendra, so it was a given that Salman would surely be attending the party. However, what surprised many was seeing Salman Khan arrive right in time; that goes on to show the respect he has for Dharmendra and Hema Malini.

While Dharmendra was regaling stories of his youth and movies of his time, Salman made his beeline to meet his idol. It all began with both giving hugs to each other and post that, Salman sat on the floor for the next 15 odd minutes while chit-chatting with the veteran actor and catching up on each other’s life.
Dharmendra is a regular guest on Salman’s reality show Bigg Boss, and during the last season, Salman took to a promise from the legend that he will be visiting his sets in this season as well.
