2023 can indeed be called Shah Rukh Khan’s year at the box office. The actor had three releases – ‘Pathaan‘, ‘Jawan‘ and ‘Dunki’, out of which, the former two movies have crossed Rs 1000 crore at the worldwide box office each. After having these two blockbusters, he ended the year with Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial ‘Dunki’ which is performing decent at the box office.After a very busy year, SRK took some time off as he travelled for a vacation with his family for New Year’s eve.
He was spotted at the Kalina Airport last night as he returned from his vacation. However, he chose to hide his face with his black hoodie. Even Abram and Gauri were quickly seen getting into their car so that the paparazzi do not capture them. One also saw SRK’s manager Pooja Dadlani along with her family who accompanied SRK for the vacation.

Meanwhile, on New Year’s eve, ‘Dunki’ saw a jump in the business and managed to score double digit numbers on its second weekend, but saw a huge drop on Monday again. On Day 13, which is Tuesday, the film saw its lowest number which was around Rs 3 crore. The total collection of ‘Dunki’ so far in all languages is about Rs 196 crore nett in India.
Talking about the actor’s next project, SRK revealed that he’s planning to begin shooting for his next film in March or April 2024, which means that he will be seen next on screen in a year or so, post ‘Dunki’.The actor said his character in this next film will be age-appropriate, though he is the central protagonist. This announcement has left fans excited for what’s in store. Though, he opted to not reveal more details about this project.
