Bollywood actors Shekhar Suman and Kangana Ranaut have both aligned with the same political party, marking a significant development in the realm of Indian politics. On Tuesday, Shekhar made his foray into politics, following the path set by his son Adhyayan Suman‘s alleged former girlfriend, Kangana Ranaut. Notably, Kangana Ranaut is currently contesting in the Lok Sabha Elections from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
Recently, Shekhar was questioned about campaigning for Kangana, despite their previous differences. In response, Shekhar told IANS, “If she invites me, then why wouldn’t I go? This is both my duty and my right.”
Reports suggest that Kangana and Adhyayan shortly dated in 2008-09 following their collaboration on ‘Raaz: The Mystery Continues’. However, after their relationship ended, both Adhyayan and Shekhar made allegations that Kangana had performed black magic on her Jr. Suman.
Considering their previous rough relationship and the charges that surfaced publicly, numerous users found it mysterious that Shekhar and Kangana would align themselves with the same political party. One user remarked humorously, “This is intriguing. The new BJP member Shekhar Suman had accused senior BJP figure Kangana Ranaut of engaging in unconventional practices against his son, including the use of menstrual blood. I wonder if Shekhar and Kangana will campaign together for old times’ sake.” Another user expressed surprise with a string of laughing cat emojis, commenting, “Shekhar Suman & Kangana in the same Party Strange.” A third tweet highlighted Shekhar Suman’s past statement in an interview, where he mentioned Ranaut’s alleged abusive behavior and involvement in esoteric practices directed towards his son.
Meanwhile, on the cinematic front, Shekhar was recently seen in ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.’ On the other hand, Kangana is gearing up to portray former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in ‘Emergency’, marking her solo directorial debut.
