A single woman has been left stunned over her Hinge date’s bizarre request.
Cindy, 28, who is from Canada but lives in Sydney, has shared a now-viral video, detailing her strange experience on the dating app.

She started the video by explaining how dating in this day and age can be odd at times, before outlining an approach she had received via Hinge.
Cindy said the man had commented on her profile photo with a request which she described as “by far the most delusional message” she had received on the app.
“Hey, are you free on Sunday?” she said the man wrote.
“My friend is here from Perth and he’s having a party and I need a date, you look like a good one to take.”
Cindy continued, in shock: “Are you seriously asking me out on a first date so you can look good in front of your friends?
“’Cause I look good, and you want to show off to all your friends that the bird you’re bringing is good quality?
“You’re joking.
“That was his idea, that was his pitch to me.
“Imagine this is your pitch as a man — you can’t be serious.
“Are these guys for real? Do you actually think I am going to answer that?
“He wasn’t even that bad looking or anything, but be for real.”
Cindy said she was still “shook and appalled” six months after receiving the message.
Her video has received more than 12,000 views, and many in the comments also shared their shock.
“This is why I hate the apps, I have no patience,” said one.
“Oh my god! It’s a jungle out there,” added another.
“Delusional,” said a third.
