Previously, the support page stated that only paid subscribers could use dark mode on Android, but this seems to have changed. In other Snapchat news, the parent company Snap recently introduced the Lens Creator Rewards program in India. This program rewards developers for creating top-performing lenses on Snapchat. India is one of the markets where these lenses receive high community engagement. The top-performing lens creator in India, the US, and Mexico can earn up to $7,200 per month. The Lens Creator Rewards program is open to developers in nearly forty countries, including India. In addition, Snapchat introduced nickname-themed AR lenses in India, allowing users to celebrate their nicknames. It was also revealed earlier this year that Snapchat had only removed a small number of underage users from its platform in the UK, despite requiring users to be 13 or older. Finally, Snapchat is a mobile app that lets users send disappearing photos and videos to friends, and also allows users to create and share stories that are visible for 24 hours.
