Space Edition: EXCLUSIVE: Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle goes interstellar, gets all-new Space edition

Bengaluru-based electric vehicle manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive recently sparked speculations among motorcycle enthusiasts with its latest teaser. Traversing realms beyond our planet, the video showcased a box on the moon with the number 77 on it and ended with the August 21, 2023 date.
While it was not exactly clear what the company has in store for its customers, we have some exclusive insight on the matter ahead of launch. The teaser is for a new edition of the F77 electric motorcycle titled, the Space Edition.
Sources close to the development told us that the F77 Space Edition will make use of aerospace-grade aluminium components and will feature a new paint scheme. This special edition model will also come with its own special key which also seems to be made out of the said metal.

What is unique about the key design is that it looks to be made out of a single piece of metal. Ultraviolette had previously launched the F77 Limited Edition and produced just 77 of those motorcycles and we expect that the Space Edition will also have a limited number of units.
Amidst this cosmic transformation, the motorcycle’s design elements are expected to stay untouched. It should still sport the same overall silhouette, as seen in the image we have.

In terms of specifications, the existing models of F77 come with either a 7.1 kWh or a 10.3 kWh battery pack. The claimed range delivered by the smaller battery pack is 206 km while the bigger one stretches that figure to 307 km. This e-motorcycle also gets three levels of regenerative braking as well as three different riding modes. The Ultraviolette F77 is offered in different variants that produce varying levels of power and torque, the most powerful one producing 40.5 hp and 100 Nm.
For the Space Edition, the company isn’t likely to introduce any major mechanical changes. There’s no information on pricing yet but our guess is that this new special edition could be the flagship F77 variant, thus a bit more expensive than its existing siblings.
