Streaming this week on 7plus: Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, NFL, motorsport and more

The world’s best cyclists arrive in Victoria for another edition of the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race.

Fresh from claiming wins at last week’s Tour Down Under, Great Britain’s Stephen Williams and Aussie Sarah Gigante will tackle the gruelling Great Ocean Road course.

Both the elite women’s and men road races start in Geelong riding out to Barwon Heads — the home of Cadel Evans — through Torquay and Bells Beach before returning to Geelong and facing the monstrous Challambra Cresent for respective honours in the King and Queen of the Mountain.

Live coverage gets underway from 12pm AEDT on Saturday for the Elite Women’s Road Race and 10:30am AEDT on Sunday for the Elite Men’s Road Race on Seven and 7plus.

Just four teams remain in the race to Super Bowl LVIII with the AFC and NFC Championship Games unfolding on Monday morning.

No.1 AFC seed Baltimore Ravens host Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s Chiefs as Kansas City look to defend their Super Bowl title. Remarkably, Patrick Mahomes has never failed to reach the AFC Championship game during his time as the Chiefs’ quarterback.

The NFC Championship game sees No.1 seed the San Francisco 49ers facing the Detroit Lions. The Lions have been on a fairytale run so far, winning a playoff game for the first time in 32 years and snapping the NFL’s longest drought.

The Australian Top Fuel Championship headline two days of intense racing at Sydney Dragway.

A huge eight car field is joined by Top Doorslammer. Pro Stock, Pro Stock Motorcycle, Pro Alcohol, Pro Mod plus more.

Defending champion Damien Harris currently leads the championship standings on 157 points ahead of his teammate Wayne Newby 32 points behind.

Each member of the top five is a championship winner, and they will be joined on-track by impressive series newcomer Kyle Putland, US racing star and round one winner Larry Dixon, plus 2022 event winner Shane Olive, who is making a comeback to the sport with a new team after a few months’ away.

Over in Victoria, the nation’s hottest sprintcar talents come together for the Australian Sprintcar Championship on January 26th and 27th.

Held at Premier Speedway in Warrnambool, the racing is guaranteed to be top quality with an Australian title on the line.

Coverage is live and free on 7plus starting from 5:30pm AEDT on Friday and Saturday night.

Jason Richardson and Lizzie Jelfs host racing coverage live from The Valley for Group 2 Australia Stakes Day. Three-year-old Colt trained by Tony and Calvin McEvoy is the one to watch.

Meanwhile the stars make their return ahead of the Autumn Carnival with the Listed Carrington Stakes at Royal Randwick and Listed Sunshine Coast Cup in Queensland.
