Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 has crossed Rs 450 crore mark at the domestic box office. Amid the roaring success, Shah Rukh Khan has not just watched the Anil Sharma directorial but the superstar also made a phone call to Sunny to express his happiness for the film’s phenomenal run in theatres.
During his recent conversation with Times Now, Sunny revealed that he got a call from Shah RukhKhan before he watched Gadar 2.He also talked to his wifeGauri Khan and son Aryan Khan as well.
“He had seen this film and before that, he called me up and wished me and he was so happy, he told me ‘I am so happy, you genuinely deserve it’ and I said ‘thank you’. I spoke to his wife and son and he said that ‘tonight we’re going to watch the film’. And I said ‘great’. And I think after that he has seen it and tweeted about it.”
Recently, during an AskSRK session, Shah Rukh Khan had replied to a fan and said that he has watched Gadar 2 and loved it.
Sunny also addressed his past issues with Shah Rukh. Talking about his equation with SRK, Sunny said that he has called him on many occasions and shared thoughts on certain things. “Of the past issues or whatever they were, I say, ‘Time heals everything and we move ahead. That’s how it should be,'” he said.

For the uninitiated, Sunny and SRK’s bad blood began on the sets of their 1993 blockbuster Darr. Sunny was apparently unhappy with
Yash Chopra for giving more prominence to SRK’s character. He had vowed never to work with the filmmaker again and he also didn’t speak to SRK for 16 years.
But now, it seems like, things have become better between Sunny and SRK and the bitterness has turned to sweetness over the years.
