While purchasing tickets for the draw live on-air, Sunrise host Matt Shirvington revealed that Nat had picked up more than $900 in a recent Lotto draw.

“Nat has the auto-pick where it just repeats,” he said.

“And she’s credited because she won like 900 bucks last time — wasn’t the 100 million.”

Nat confirmed the win, saying: “$930! A few weeks ago!”

The revelation comes as newsagencies across the country brace for a ticket rush today, with millions of Australians desperate to take home the life-changing jackpot.

“It was only in June when a father from Bankstown became the second-biggest individual Lotto winner in Australian history,” Sunrise reporter Georgie Costi said.

“He took $100 million home all by himself.

“Tonight you have the opportunity to join him with another $100 million up for grabs.

“That’s because the last five weeks of Powerball have jackpotted and this is now the fifth-biggest draw in Australian Lotto history.

“And although it’s only early here at Palm Beach on the Gold Coast this morning, we have already seen people coming in to get their tickets in a bid to change their lives forever.

“That’s something we’re going to see right around the country today with half of Australia’s adults expected to buy a ticket.”

Entries for Thursday’s $100 million Powerball draw close at 7.30pm (AEST).
