Sunrise co-host Natalie Barr became emotional about her son during a chat with supermodel and beauty mogul Miranda Kerr, who is pregnant with her fourth child.

As the former Victoria Secret model talked about having a fourth boy, and juggling her growing family from her home in Los Angeles, Nat was candid as she discussed her younger child’s milestone.

“Yeah, well, you know what? It’s my last child’s last day of school today,” Nat responded, becoming a little emotional as she looked down at her lap.

“So I know it gets busy but make the most of it, because then you’ll be crying like I will be next week when they have their assembly.”

Nat has two boys, Lachlan and younger son Hunter, with husband Andrew Thompson, so she also knows a thing or two about a household full of boys.

During the interview, Kerr explained what her brood was up to at the moment.

“Flynn is in seventh grade, Hart just started kindergarten, and Myles is in pre-school,” she explained.

Flynn is Kerr’s firstborn son, with ex-husband actor Orlando Bloom, while Hart and Myles are her children with current husband, Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel.

“I actually signed up as a parent helper at Hart’s school, I help with the gardening and dictation,” Kerr said.

“I’m also one of the room mums at Myles’ pre-school, and then Flynn, with his sports and everything that he’s got going on … there’s so much going on.

“My heart is very full.”

Although Nat mostly keeps her kids out of the spotlight, every now and then she has shared some insights into her family life.

In 2021, she appeared in an Australian Women’s Weekly photo shoot with her boys, telling the magazine that her family was incredibly important to her.

“My boys and my husband are my life,” she said.

“I may have this amazing career, but they are my number one priority and they always have been.

“Andrew and the boys come first.

“Of course, I have always been able to run out the door to cover a story when I need to, but I only ever did that when the boys were old enough to deal with it and to be left at home.”
