Australian singer Delta Goodrem is celebrating a new chapter in her career, launching her first song under her new record label, ATLED.
The 38-year-old visited Sunrise to celebrate the big day, with co-host Matt Shirvington admitting he feels “so stupid” after realising the meaning behind the label’s name.

Goodrem explained ATLED Records was founded because of the “changing landscape, evolving with the times, learning and seeing how you can continue to be creative and share creativity with your community and people who are part of the journey with you in the arts”.
The Born To Try star spent 22 years with Sony Records and decided to take the leap and work “really hard”.
“It must have been really daunting going out on your own but that freedom must feel so good,” Shirvo told her.
“You blew my mind. I feel so stupid now.”
Shirvo recalled reading through his briefing notes “this morning at 4 o’clock and I thought (the name) must be an acronym for something, something, something”.
“But it’s Delta spelled backward,” he said.
“It is, it really is,” the singer said with a laugh.
“Hang on a second,” co-host Natalie Barr said, also laughing.
Shirvo jokingly asked Goodrem if she was looking at her name in the mirror, thinking: “What should I call it?”
“I mean, I kind of got the inspiration off Queen Oprah, she had done Harpo Productions,” Goodrem explained.
“You want something that’s going to stick with you for your life, you come up with different words and then you realise that doesn’t stick.
“I feel like I’m stuck with my name for life.”
Nat said Goodrem’s album cover for her new single Back To Your Heart is “blowing people’s minds” and giving “Sandy from Grease vibes”.
