Members of a Florida family from the Genesis II Church of Health and Healing have been found guilty of federal crimes after selling a bleach mixture called Miracle Mineral Solution (MMS) as a miracle cure for various health conditions, including COVID-19. Mark Grenon, along with his sons Jonathan, Joseph, and Jordan, were convicted of conspiring to defraud the United States and deliver misbranded drugs. The Grenons operated their organization online, claiming to be a non-religious church focused on health and healing. They sold $1 million worth of MMS, which is actually chlorine dioxide, a powerful bleach used in industrial water treatment. The FDA has warned against consuming MMS, stating that it can cause severe side effects. Despite their arrest and trial, followers of the church continue to promote the bleach solution on a forum now called The Chlorine Dioxide Forum. The Grenons are scheduled to be sentenced on October 6th.
