Suzuki: Suzuki eWX EV concept revealed with WagonR like styling and 230km range

Japanese Automaker Suzuki is getting ready to showcase multiple concept and production models at the Tokyo Motor Show 2023 which will be held from October 26 to November 5. The company has teased images of the next-generation Swift, the eVX concept, a mini-commercial electric van and the eWX, termed as the mini wagon EV.
Suzuki has released a single image of the eWX. In terms of design, the concept EV gets a tall boy design with a boxy silhouette. At the front, it has a closed-off grille with C-shaped light clusters. The lower bumper gets plastic cladding with yellow highlights on the bumper, wheels and side skirts.

Talking about the dimensions, the eWX concept will have an overall length of 3,395 mm, a width of 1,475 mm and a height of 1,620 mm. The company claims that the eWX is a ‘practical mini wagon’ and has been designed to be used by people daily.
The company has not revealed any details about the interiors, features, battery or electric motors. Suzuki claims that the eWX can go 230 Km in one full charge. As mentioned previously, the company will also showcase india-bound next generation Swift. The new Swift will get a new design, additional features, an updated powertrain and much more.

The hatchback gets a re-designed front bumper and a new grille with chunky black surrounds. It features re-designed smoked LED headlamps with DRLs and it also gets revised fog lamp housing below. The international spec Swift will also get features such as a 360-degree camera and multiple ADAS features such as dual sensor brake support, adaptive high beam assist, driver monitoring system, and collision mitigation braking system.

There’s no any information regarding the powertrain and gearbox. The International spec-Swift might get multiple powertrain options which include a strong hybrid and a turbo petrol. In India, the new Swift will likely be powered by the same 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, NA petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.
