Suzuki: Suzuki Motorcycle India records highest-ever domestic sales: Sells 84,302 units in Oct’23

Two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki reported its highest-ever domestic sales at 84,302 units in October 2023. The company has recorded an overall sale of 1,00,507 and has witnessed growth of 14.4 per cent over the month last year. The company also mentioned that it exported a total of 16,205 units last month.
When compared to September 2023, the sales stood at 97,936 units, the growth stands at 2.62 per cent.The highest-selling models fromSuzuki Motorcycles in India include Access, Avenis, Gixxer SF and V-Strom 250. The company also sells Suzuki Hayabusa, Katana and V-Storm 650XT.

In July 2023, the Suzuki Access 125 achieved 5 million production milestone. The company rolled out five millionth Access 125 scooter from its Kherki Daula plant in Gurugram, Haryana. The Access 125 is available in three variants – Standard, Special Edition, and Ride Connect. The price for the scooter starts from Rs 82,000 (ex-showroom).

The Access 125 is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that puts out 8.58bhp at 6,750rpm and a peak torque of 10Nm at 5,500rpm. The lower models get steel wheels and drum brakes and the top variant gets alloy wheels and a front disc and rear drum brake setup.
In terms of features, the Scooter gets LED headlights, a front storage rack, a USB socket, a 21.8-litre under-seat storage and a digital instrument cluster. The Ride Connect variant gets a Bluetooth-enabled digital cluster with features such as turn-by-turn navigation, call, SMS and WhatsApp alerts, Caller ID, over-speed warning, ETA updates, phone battery level display and much more.
