Tesla is offering a one-time free transfer of its costly full self-driving (FSD) software for first-time Tesla customers who have purchased the FSD package. This offer allows customers to transfer the FSD software to another new Tesla vehicle if they purchase the vehicle and take delivery by September 30. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, mentioned during an earnings call that this offer is only valid if customers place their orders before the end of Q3. Additionally, customers must add FSD Capability to their new Tesla car order. The price of Tesla FSD is currently $15,000 in the US.
