Thanksgiving was celebrated on October 23, and carrying forward its tradition, Google shared a new Doodle marking the important day. This year, the Google Doodle had several elements – from pumpkin pie in the corners and random puzzle pieces floating around the ‘Google’ branding. On the occasion, company CEO Sundar Pichai also shared a message.
“Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating today! Feeling grateful for family and friends, and the chance to be together today,” he said in a post on X, sharing the image of Thanksgiving Google Doodle.

“This hand-crafted Doodle celebrates Thanksgiving in the United States. On the fourth Thursday of November, people gather with loved ones to give thanks,” Google said about the Doodle.
“Thanksgiving day is stuffed with activities. Across the country, people spend the day preparing and eating delicious dishes, watching parades, or participating in fun runs. Many people also lean into the spirit of giving through volunteering with local organisations to prepare and serve free dinners to their communities,” it added in the “About the Doodle” section.
