Between Paris Fashion Week and various glitzy Hollywood premieres, there was no shortage of stellar fashion moments this week. The best dressed stars—Zendaya, Chloe Sevigny, and Julianne Moore, among them—redefined classic silhouettes with interesting proportions and unexpected accessories. The result? Stunning.
At the premiere of Dune: Part Two in New York City, Zendaya chose a white Stéphane Rolland gown with spliced cutouts along the center of the bodice and at the hips. It was a risqué detail that, when combined with the hefty gold trims, felt modern and daring in the best way. Equally sleek was Dua Lipa at the 2024 Brit Awards. The pop star offered her take on the classic LBD, slipping into a strappy, figure-hugging leather gown by Versace. Va-va-voom!
There were also some clever approaches to suiting this week. At a French cinema showcase in New York City, Marion Cotillard wore a classic Chanel tweed suit—only her skirt featured a whimsical tulle underlay, making the look more playful. At the Dior fall 2024 show in Paris, Jennifer Lawrence forwent a top with her three-piece suit (a decidedly sexier approach to buttoning-up) and still looked like a total boss.
