The Chase Australia star Mark “The Beast” Labbett has welcomed in the New Year by working out hard at the gym as he continues on his weight loss journey.
His girlfriend, English TV presenter Hayley Palmer, recently posted a video noting how proud of him she was — and Labbett went on to share the footage with his followers, too.

In the video, Labbett is shown walking on a treadmill, lifting weights and standing on a set of scales, where he weighs in at 124.8kg.
At his heaviest, Labbett weighed about 185kg.
“I’m so proud of @markthebeastlabbett,” a caption over the video read.
“He started to come to gym with me in the morning.
“And he is doing so well.”
In a separate caption, Palmer added: “He is down to 124 kilos/19.5 stone.”
“We’re planning to tone and improving conditioning,” she added.
Fans have been doubly fascinated with Labbett’s weight loss journey and his relationship with Palmer.
The pair went public as a couple in October 2022 and are in a state of “pure happiness,” Palmer recently told 7NEWS.com.au.
While Palmer is based in the UK and Labbett spends part of his year down under, she could be back in Australia soon, she added.
“I would love to come out to Australia. Mark and I have talked about it,” Palmer said.
“I have been to Sydney and Manly Beach is my favourite.
“So I really do hope to come out — that would be an absolute dream.
“I must put it on my vision board.”
On January 1, Labbett shared a picture of the pair laughing together as they celebrated New Year’s Eve, with Palmer all dressed up in a leg-revealing sparkly dress.
Labbett, meanwhile, looked dapper in a dark jacket, pants and a white shirt, grinning from ear to ear.
“NYE,” he wrote, adding a yellow love heart emoji.
“Colour co-ordinated with the balloons!
“Wishing you a very happy 2024.”
Followers rushed to wish the pair a wonderful year together.
“HNY you gorgeous couple,” one fan wrote.
“May 2024 bring all the happiness you deserve.”
“Looking fantastic Mark,” added another.
“Mark, looking great mate,” concurred a third.
But one follower had a word of warning for Labbett after his remarkable body transformation.
“Happy New Year to you both,” they wrote.
“Don’t start going soft now that you’re all loved up, Mark!”
