Tata Safari facelift
Showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, the Tata Safari facelift will feature several design and interior upgrades. Spotted testing on Indian roads multiple times, the Safari facelift will likely receive revised projector headlamps with a connected LED DRL bar running across the front fascia. In terms of the interior, the Tata Safari facelift will come equipped with a two-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, redesigned alloy wheels, and new graphics on the fully-digital instrument console.
Mechanically, the new Tata Safari is expected to be powered by the same 2L four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 167 hp power and 350 Nm torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic gearbox. There are chances that the new Tata Safari will also get a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The Tata Safari facelift is anticipated to launch around the festive season this year. Currently, the Tata Safari price in India starts from Rs 15.85 lakh and goes up to Rs 25.21 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). We expect the Safari to cost a premium of around Rs 1 lakh over the current model once launched.
Citroen C3 Aircross
Expected to launch in August 2023, the Citroen C3 Aircross might get a three-row layout as an option. Dimensionally, the C3 Aircross measures 4,300 mm in length, 1,796 mm in width, and 1,654 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,671 mm. Inside the cabin, the SUV will come equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, manual AC, and second-row roof-mounted AC vents.
Talking about safety, the C3 Aircross will receive dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, rear parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Under the hood, the SUV will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, with different power output.
As for the price, we expect the Citroen C3 Aircross to be available at a starting price of Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. It will compete against the likes of the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and Toyota Hyryder in the Indian market.
Honda Elevate
Honda Cars India globally unveiled the Elevate mid-size SUV in June 2023. The company has already started accepting bookings for the Honda Elevate, with a token amount of Rs 21,000, via the official website or authorized dealerships across the country. Test drives will begin soon. The prices of the all-new Honda Elevate will be revealed in September 2023.

Under the hood, the SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, producing a peak power of 117 hp and a maximum torque of 145 Nm. The engine is mated with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed CVT gearbox. We expect the Honda Elevate to be priced between Rs 12 lakh to Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the Honda Elevate will compete against the likes of the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, and more.
