Thrift queens: How you can recreate this season’s hottest suiting look from Kmart

The women’s suiting look is the latest trend, with celebrities such as Hailey Bieber and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley rocking it on their Instagram feeds.

But you don’t need to buy from the likes of high-end retailers Loewe and Bottega Veneta.

Aussie podcast hosts Sal and Al from @twonbrokechicks have shared in a now-viral video how you can recreate the look on a budget — using clothes from Kmart.

The budget-buy experts said that, in a cost-of-living crisis, “we need affordable options” when it comes to fashion.

Both women showed off their stylish suits that cost them under $100, all from Kmart.

Al wore a grey pinstripe suit, with the blazer costing $38, the pants $25 and the vest only $20.

In total, the stylish suit came to $83.

Sal opted for a beige suit.

Her blazer cost $38 and the pants only $25, so it came to a total of $63.

The women agreed these were amazing prices for a “whole outfit”.

“We do like to size up for more of a street style look, you want it to be more oversized,” they explained.

The girls said Kmart were offering the items in sizes 6-20.

“Good bang for your buck,” said Al.

“The jackets also have lining and feature pockets; these looks featured at Melbourne Fashion Festival so, suiting is sure to be another Autumn trend.”

Their video has received more than 18,000 views, with people loving the Kmart ‘dupe’.

“That’s so incredible,” said one, while another said: “Take my money.”

“Slay chicks,” added a third.
