In an old interview, Juhi Chawla took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, fondly recalling the days of filming the romantic action comedy ‘Ishq‘. She shared anecdotes about her co-stars Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan, revealing their playful antics and pranks on the movie set. One particular instance she shared was when a new assistant director was tasked with giving the clap for a shot; Ajay and Aamir would playfully poke him, causing the clapboard to shake, much to the amusement of the cast and crew.
“As a result, the assistant director would often get scolded by our director, Indra Kumar. Sometimes they would even erase the markings for the shot. Each time, the assistant director would be scolded by our director, unaware that it was actually Aamir and Ajay who were behind the mischief,” Juhi said.
The special episode paid tribute to Juhi Chawla’s career in Indian cinema, showcasing dance performances by contestants on her iconic songs from the 90s. In a unique twist, judges Farah Khan, Arshad Warsi, and Malaika Arora introduced the contestants to a thrilling ‘Grand Costume Party’ challenge, tasking them with delivering dramatic performances while donning unique costumes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the celebrations.
