Tiger 3, the much anticipated Salman Khan-led film, made headlines as its international tickets went on sale last week creating a buzz in the pre-sales market. The film is set to release on the 12th of November, and initial pre-sales trends indicate a promising start, with nearly USD 150,000 in sales for the first day as per a report by Pinkvilla. It is an impressive feat considering it’s still thirteen days away from its release.

These sales figures rank Tiger 3 among the top Bollywood films in terms of pre-sales, with its response being exceeded only by two Shah Rukh Khan starrers, Jawan and Pathaan. These two films set unprecedented records at the overseas box office this year.
Tiger 3, being released on a Sunday, won’t be competing for weekend records due to the short weekend. However, it has the potential to rank among the top opening days. While it’s unlikely to challenge the records set by Pathaan and Jawan, both grossing over USD 4.50 million on their first day, it can aim for the next position.
The United Kingdom and the UAE have shown the strongest response, both markets where Salman Khan enjoys significant popularity. In the United States, the film has generated nearly USD 42,000 in first-day sales. In the UK, it has sold almost 3,000 tickets, amounting to GBP 25,000 in revenue. It’s pacing two-thirds of Jawan’s sales, maintaining this rate since ticket sales began. Similarly, in the UAE, the first-day pre-sales reached USD 22,000, with 1,600 tickets sold.
Tiger 3 takes Aditya Chopra’s Spy Universe ahead as it s the first film which will take the timeline of Tiger, Pathaan and War ahead which will eventually lead to entry of Alia Bhatt to the mix.
