It was a tool collection for any tradie to be proud of.

Over about seven years in carpentry, Toowoomba man Keilan Weston had spent up to $25,000 on ensuring he had every piece of equipment to do his job.

But now it’s gone — leaving Weston “in a bit of a predicament right now”.

“I can’t even do my job anymore, man,” he said on TikTok.

Weston was robbed in the early hours of Sunday morning, with his security cameras recording the thief making off with his stuff after breaking the locks on his ute.

“(They) pinched the fridge off the back of my ute and went through my trailer and emptied the entire trailer,” he said.

“Woke up this morning to all the doors open, and all my gear was gone.

“Every single thing in that trailer is gone. Nothing left.

“About $20,000, $25,000 worth of s*** was in that trailer.”

Among the items he says were stolen were “about 20 Milwaukee power tools”, including “a brand new Milwaukee finish gun”, and “about 15, 16 Milwaukee batteries”.

A “brand new nail bag” with an estimated $1500 worth of contents, plus about the same amount worth of “my hammer drill bits, impact driver bits, drill bits, everything”.

“I’ve got to go out and buy and nail bag, buy this and that, just so I can do my job,” he said.

In a desperate measure, Weston has offered the public a $3000 reward for information leading to the recovery of his gear.

He said many of his tools were painted pink and had his initials written on them.

“It’s taken me six or seven years to build all this stuff up,” he told 7NEWS.

“Do I need to put barbed wire around my house, a six-foot fence? What do I need to do to stop these people doing this?”
