Building a car collection can be hard, and if the cars you’re interested in are rare or limited in production, it can be even harder. Most importantly, it takes a lot of time, since you can’t just hop on Autotrader and be guaranteed to find whatever you’re looking for. Alternatively, you could simply buy somebody else’s collection. Like, for example, the so-called “Toys For Boys” Collection that’s currently being sold by RPM Technika.
If you’re into Porsche 911 GT3s, then this is definitely the collection for you. Unless you’re a girl, that is. If you are, sorry, but this collection is not for you. Only boys can buy these cars.
Pricing is unlisted, but as they say, if you have to ask, you can’t afford it. But for whatever ungodly sum it’ll take to acquire this collection, you’ll get a 2018 991.2 GT3 Clubsport, 2016 911 R, 2018 991.2 GT3 Touring, 2019 991.2 GT3 RS with the Weissach package, 2018 991.2 GT3 Cup and a 2018 991 GT3 R Carbon. Even better, it also comes with its own six-car transporter, so you can drive your collection wherever you want to take it.
Considering the price of the collection, we would have probably gone with an enclosed trailer, but then you wouldn’t be able to see the cars. And if you can’t see the cars, then it wouldn’t look like the toy the owner, an Austrian architect named Alexander Serda, reportedly put the collection together to recreate. He also doesn’t seem to have gotten much use out of the collection, either, as all cars only have delivery miles on them.
Maybe you can rescue these cars from storage and put some actual miles on them? Probably not, since, well, very few people have the kind of money to even consider such a purchase. Still, we’d like to think they’ll find a home where they’ll actually be enjoyed instead of stored away. Odds are, that won’t happen, but hey, a boy can dream. Not girls, though. No girls allowed.
