Ultraviolette F77 rides into Asia book of records: Covers 6,727 kms in 22 days

Bengaluru-based EV startup Ultraviolette Automotive’s maiden motorcycle, the F77, had ridden into history books, having completed a 6,727 km journey in just 22 days. With this feat, the electric motorcycle has rubber-stamped its name in the India book of records as well as the Asia book of records.
The record-breaking journey was led by Baala Manikandan, one of the initial few customers of the EV. Manikandan started his journey from Chennai on May 21, 2023, and traveled through 14 states in India. He faced a variety of challenging terrain and weather conditions, including scorching heat and freezing cold, with temperatures varying from 45 degree C to -15 degree C.
The F77 also saved an astounding 270 liters of petrol compared to what an ICE bike would have consumed, resulting in a cost saving of over Rs 27,000 and a reduction of 645 kg of harmful tailpipe emissions across the journey.
