Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’ released with Ranbir Kapoor‘s ‘Animal‘ on December 1 and both the films have been doing well in their respective spaces. Despite the fact that ‘Animal’ has been garnering some whopping numbers at the box office, ‘Sam Bahadur’ also saw a jump in its business on Saturday.
It has lesser shows than ‘Animal’ but the film is having a good footfall over the weekend.On Sunday, Vicky was seen visiting a theatre and interacted with the audience watching ‘Sam Bahadur’. There were many older members in the audience as we can see along with Vicky. One lady was seen taking his autograph and appreciated him, while he held her hand put it on his forehead. Many people also told him, ‘National Award milega’, and Vicky couldn’t help but smile wide. Vicky responded and said, “Aapne movie dekhi wohi bohot hai. For an actor there is no better visual than a packed housefull show.”
He further spoke about the film and said, “Hamara aim sirf yehi tha that we give a tribute to a very special man from the Indian army.” ‘Sam Bahadur’ is based on Field Marshall Sam Maneckshaw’s life. It sees Vicky playing the titular role, while Sanya Malhotra plays Sam’s wife in the movie.
