The whole of Australia is lying in wait for the Matildas’ semi-final with England – but before then Spain and Sweden will play off on Tuesday night for a spot in the FIFA Women’s World Cup decider.

Seven’s coverage of the clash kicks off at 5.30pm AEST and will run through to full-time – whenever that might be, should the match require extra time and penalties.

On Wednesday night, the Matildas will aim to reach the final when they meet England at Stadium Australia in Sydney.

The semi-final winners will proceed to the final, to be played on Sunday night in Sydney, while the losers will need to dust themselves off for the third-place playoff on Saturday night in Brisbane.
