The pair met at a bar in January, where Carey was hosting a meet and greet event for charity, and went public with their relationship in March.

O’Neill is a businesswoman who has co-founded two skincare companies, My Glow 2 and Huxden, and she boasts a strong social media following, with more than 115,000 followers on TikTok and 10,300 on Instagram.

Her how-to beauty and lifestyle videos receive thousands of views online.

In March the pair went “Instagram official,” sharing a candid photo of themselves cuddling up and drinking rosé.

While their full faces were cut out of the shot, they appeared to be gazing at one another.

“Sunday,” O’Neill’s caption simply read, along with a wine glass emoji.

Relationship rumours began after the pair was spotted at the charity function in Bundalong, Northern Victoria.

Carey and O’Neill looked “smitten”, according to locals who attended An Evening with Wayne Carey at the Bundalong Tavern, which raised funds for the Good Bloke Society and Outside the Locker Room.

But it seems the relationship was short-lived.

Carey, a two-time North Melbourne premiership winner, has been keeping a low profile since a “white powder” controversy in 2022.

He was kicked out of Crown Casino in WA in September when a zip-lock bag of powder fell out of his pocket while he was gambling.

Carey maintained the powder was an anti-inflammatory medication he took for pain relief.

He was stood down from his Triple M radio show and lost his Channel 7 commentary job for 2023, but no charges were laid.
