WhatsApp Resolves Sorting Chats Issue for Android Beta with New Update

WhatsApp, the messaging platform owned by Meta, has released an update to fix a sorting chats issue on its Android beta version. This issue caused the chat list to not refresh when a new message was received, resulting in the most recent conversation not appearing at the top. Users had to close and reopen WhatsApp to temporarily fix the problem. The update, version 2.23.16.7, addresses this issue and allows users to use WhatsApp without experiencing the problem. The update was automatically installed for many users through the Google Play Store’s auto-download settings. In addition to this bug-fix update, WhatsApp also recently released an update to fix an emoji keyboard crash on its Android beta version. The platform also faced a global outage, including in India, due to connectivity issues, which lasted for about 20 minutes.
