The newest Fallout series has just hit Amazon – and it has received glowing praise from viewers and reviewers alike.
The newest show takes place 200 years after the apocalypse and the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind – and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.
But if you haven’t heard of the Fallout series before, the show is based on a game franchise which dates back to 1997 with multiple games leading up to 2018 so if you wanted to know more about the world and get to know the history of the franchise, you might be considering buying the newest games.
And Bethesda, the game studio behind the Fallout franchise, has even announced that it will be releasing new updates for Fallout 4 thanks to the release of the game. But where can you get the games?

The Fallout TV series is set also 11 years after Fallout 4 and almost 21 years after Fallout 3 with both games being two of the best games from the franchise.
There’s also Fallout: New Vegas – another terrific addition which is set 27 years before the Fallout TV show. The good news is that all these games have released years ago so you can get them for a brilliant price.
But if all you want to do is watch the Fallout TV series, you can do so right now. All eight episodes of Fallout are available to watch now on Prime Video. It is included with an Amazon Prime subscription, which usually costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year, but Fallout fans can watch the entire series absolutely free if they sign up for a 30-day free trial.
Early reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, with the series debuting with a 95% Rotten Tomatoes score, though this is likely to fluctuate in the coming days. Critics and fans have flocked to social media with their early reactions, with some hailing it as “one of the best video-game adaptations” ever and “on par” with HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us.
