Ex-Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson stepped down recently after being “taken ill” during training and took the decision so Palace could bring forward their plans to appoint his successor. They have since hired former Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner.

The former Tottenham boss is struggling to work his magic at Chelsea and the Blues are a long way off the pace in the race for the Champions League.
