Why this music star joining GTA 6 has divided the gaming community

Grammy-winning artist T-Pain has confirmed his collaboration with the development team of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6). Speaking candidly, he expressed the excitement of being part of the highly-anticipated next installment of the iconic gaming franchise.
T-Pain provided insights into his involvement in the development process. While details about his role remain scarce, the mere confirmation of his collaboration has fueled speculation about potential in-game music contributions or even a character cameo.
No role-playing in GTA V
Interestingly, T-Pain also shared his experience with Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) and the impact it has had on his gaming preferences. The artist mentioned that due to his active involvement in the development of GTA 6, he finds it challenging to engage in role-playing activities within GTA 5.
“I used to be on NoPixel, then I started working on GTA VI, and they told me I couldn’t do RP anymore because it kind of goes against… they had this whole speech, like, ‘What if somebody took your album and re-recorded it, and more people were listening to that,’ and I’m like, ‘Okay, I kind of get that, but I was having a good time. Alright that’s fine,'” T-Pain said.
This suggests his connection with the gaming community and showcases the depth of his engagement with the virtual world.
“Then I started working on the game with them and then they teamed up with the people that make the RP sh*t, and I’m like, ‘Wait a minute, what? What the f**ck?…Y’all tell me I can’t do this sh*t and then you team up with the people that enable the RP?” T-Pain said.
T-Pain had been role-playing on NoPixel since at least 2021.
