Soon, more electric cars will be available for tourists in Ayodhya, placed at key locations. These cars will be made available on a mobile app, allowing tourists to easily book them for visits to religious sites like Ram Janambhoomi, Suraj Kund, Saryu River, Bharat Kund, and more. The fare for these electric cars will start at Rs 250 for 10 kilometers, Rs 400 for 20 kilometers, and go up to Rs 3000 for a 12-hour rental. The Tata Tigor EVs come with a claimed range of 315 km on a single charge, sufficient for covering most travel needs within Ayodhya.

The deployed electric cars have already commenced trial runs for commuters arriving at Ayodhya Cantt station. People using these electric cars are encouraged to share their experiences. Passengers arriving at Ayodhya railway station have lauded the development in Ayodhya and their electric car journey.
Apart from the introduction of these EVs, an e-cart service has been operational in Ayodhya since the last Deepotsav, providing transportation for six passengers. This service is particularly designed for elderly visitors heading to Hanuman Garhi, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, and other sites.
