Hyundai Motor India is gearing up for the launch of the much-awaited Creta facelift in India with a price announcement slated to happen tomorrow. Bookings for the updated SUV had already commenced for a token amount of Rs 25,000.
The carmaker had been drip-teasing the details and building anticipation about the Creta facelift for a while until it was officially revealed last week.The latest iteration of the SUV boasts a range of cosmetic updates compared to its predecessor, along with the introduction of several new features, including an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) bundle. The updated model will be available in seven variants: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O).
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Design
The 2024 Creta features a completely redesigned front fascia, featuring a bold and expansive three-row grille. Compared to the outgoing model, the SUV now has a more upright and assertive stance at the front. Key modifications include updated projector LED headlights, H-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) reminiscent of the new Santa Fe in the international market, a redesigned bumper, and vertically stacked fog lamps.

Moving to the rear, the upcoming model features a connected LED tail lamp setup, complemented by a fresh bumper, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a redesigned tailgate to accommodate these enhancements.
While the side profile of the SUV remains largely unchanged, there’s a notable addition of new alloy wheels, expected to be available in 17-inch and 18-inch options depending on the trim.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Features and interiors
Based on the images released, the interior of the new Creta features a massive upgrade, including two 10.25-inch screens. Additionally, the dashboard incorporates new design elements, and the upholstery boasts refreshed textures and materials.
Other features include dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite offering 19 functions.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Engine
The 2024 Creta will offer a range of three engine options. It will retain the existing 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units from the outgoing model. Additionally, a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, sourced from the latest-generation Verna, is set to debut.
For transmission, the new Creta provides flexibility with options including a 6-speed manual, Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), and a 6-speed automatic.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Expected Price
It is possible that Hyundai will debut the Creta facelift with a price tag between Rs 11 lakh, ex-showroom, for the base-spec variant and Rs 18 lakh, ex-showroom, for the top-of-the-line trim.
