While Maruti Suzuki is yet to confirm any information about the new-gen Swift’s arrival in India, it could make its way to our markets next year with the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder NA petrol engine. As of now, the Maruti Suzuki Swift is offered with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 89 hp of maximum power and 113 Nm of peak torque, available with a 5MT and an optional 5AMT.
Apart from the new engine, the 2024 Swift also features tons of styling updates, while the overall design ethos remains unchanged. Suzuki seems to have stuck with the motto of ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ as far as styling is concerned. The compact hatchback looks more modern than before, however, is still unmistakably a Swift.
