Electric Motorcycle: Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle pulls truck & bus weighing 15,000kg with ease!

Most of us are already aware of the torquey nature of electric vehicles, delivering it right from get go. Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ultraviolette‘s latest video further highlights the torque prowess of electric motors! The video, uploaded on social media by none other than Ultraviolette’s co-founder Narayan Subramaniam, shows its F77 electric motorcycle pulling a truck and a bus together, all by itself!
For reference, the Ultraviolette F77Recon variant seen in the video has a peak power output of 39 hp, along with 95 Nm of peak torque. As per the video’s claims, the truck and bus together weigh about 15,000 kg. The two commercial vehicles are tied one behind another, and the electric motorcycle manages to pull them without any trouble, which is truly astonishing!

The video comes right after Tesla released a video showing its new Cybertruck beating a Porsche 911 in a drag race. However, the twist was that the Cybertruck was actually tied to a trailer which was carrying another 911 on it! “Hold my beer,” said Narayan, posting another video of the Tesla Cybertruck vs Porsche 911 drag race, which transitions to the Ultraviolette F77 pulling the truck and bus together.
That said, Ultraviolette had also recently revealed its upcoming F99 – the fastest made in India electric motorcycle. The bike broke cover at EICMA 2023 in Milan last month, boasting a 120 hp electric motor, with a top speed of 265 kmph! Ultraviolette says that the F99 will be launched globally in 2025. If the F77 can pull 15 tonnes with ease, we are now left wondering what the F99 would be able to do!
TOI Auto urges its readers not to replicate such stunts since tests like these are generally performed in controlled environments under supervision of professionals.
