The craze for Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster action-thriller Jawan doesn’t appear to be going away anytime soon. The film which raised Rs 240.47 crore worldwide gross in just two days, continued its impressive run and recorded one of the highest advance box office bookings for Sunday.
According to reports, the film has already minted an estimated Rs 44.5 crore in advance bookings.A report on Sacnik states that the film earned an estimated Rs 39.9 crore in Hindi, Rs 1.31 crore in Hindi IMAX and Rs 33 Lakh in 4DX format. It added another Rs 1.85 crore in Tamil and Rs 1.05 crore in Telugu dubbed formats.

The pan-India film, directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee, was released worldwide on Thursday. “In just 2 days a ‘handsome’ Rs 240. 47 crore worldwide gross box office collection,” the production house Red Chilles Entertainment posted on its official social media pages.

Jawan is a father-son story that addresses social and political issues through its hero, essayed by the Bollywood star.
The movie collected Rs 129.6 crore worldwide gross on day one, making it the biggest opening day in the history of Hindi cinema globally. With this, the SRK starrer film has become the biggest Hindi opener film of all time.
Earlier, SRK’s comeback film ‘Pathaan’ minted Rs 55 Crores on its opening day and now ‘Jawan’ has surpassed its first-day collection.

Helmed by Atlee, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. Actor Deepika Padukone could be seen in a guest appearance role.
The film received massive responses from the audience as well as the critics.
Apart from this, SRK will be next seen in director Rajkumar Hirani’s next film ‘Dunki’ opposite Taapsee Pannu. The official release date of ‘Dunki’ is still awaited.
