KFC has announced the revival of its KFC weddings and introduced a new BBQ Onion Ring Burger, featuring two crispy onion rings.
The fast-food outlet says the two rings, symbolising unity and commitment, are a perfect fit for a memorable celebration of love with KFC bringing back its famous KFC weddings, which offers one lucky couple the wedding of the year.
KFC is inviting customers to seize the opportunity to propose with a more edible ring — the BBQ onion ring burger. The most creative proposal picture will win an $80,000 wedding package including KFC catering, theming, venue hire, photography and entertainment.

The BBQ onion ring burger boasts an Original Recipe fillet of chicken, cheese, lettuce, a new sweet and tangy BBQ sauce and two onion rings.
KFC is extending an invitation to all Australians above the age of 18, regardless of gender, sexual preference, religion, or age to apply for this unique wedding experience.
To enter, visit the KFC weddings website, share your proposal picture, explain in 100 words or less why you deserve a KFC wedding and create a brief 15-second video introducing yourself and expressing your love for KFC. Entries close on November 27, 2023.
The BBQ onion ring burger will be available at participating stores and via the KFC smartphone app, excluding WA and Wollongong, from October 31 to November 27.
It can be purchased as a combo with chips and a drink, or as part of the BBQ onion ring burger box. Individual KFC onion rings are also available for purchase. If you’re in WA or Wollongong, you’re encouraged to get creative and join in the excitement.
