Matthew Hayden buys Mahindra Scorpio N ahead of India vs Australia ICC CWC final ’23

The entire world, especially India and Australia, is preparing for the final showdown of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Ahead of the much anticipated final, Australian cricket legend, who happens to be the brand ambassador of the Indian carmaker in Australia, recently added another Mahindra to his garage, this time a brand-new Scorpio-N SUV.
The video was uploaded on Mahindra Australia’s YouTube channel and has now been going viral. In the video, the Queenslander can be seen taking a walk around a Mahindra dealership in Brisbane before he takes the delivery of the Scorpio-N, finished in the Everest White colour scheme, which is also offered on our shores.

Mahindra launched the Scorpio-N in India last year and ever since the SUV has become an instant hit among the customers with the waiting period for the car extending over a year consistently. In India, the SUV comes at a starting price of Rs 13.26 lakh, ex-showroom for the base-spec Z2 trim. On the other hand, in Australia, it is available in two trims – Z8 Automatic and Z8L. Drive away prices for the Z8 variant start at AD 41,990 (approx Rs 22.78 lakh).
Hayden is currently in India and is expected to be in the stands cheering on his team as they take on the hosts. He was also recently seen test driving a XUV700 SUV in Thane last week.
India, coming off a splendid unbeaten run during the World Cup will be facing Australia for the coveted title. The match comes as a repeat of the 2003 World Cup final but this time around, the hosts will be giving it all to change the outcome and seal the third ODI WC title.
