Aayush Sharma starrer ‘Ruslaan’ made its way to the theatres this Friday and made an impression at the box office. According to Sacnilk report, on its opening day, the ‘Ruslaan,’ the spy drama helmed by Karan Lalit Bhutani made approximately Rs.60 lakhs crores in India.
The film’s occupancy rates on its debut day showcased a promising start, with a notable presence in theaters across various regions.There was a 6.42% occupancy in the overall Hindi 2D format.
Further, if we go by region, in Mumbai the movie saw an occupancy of 7.50%, while in NCR, the percentage was 7. 16% was the highest occupancy percentage seen in Chennai, followed by an 11% rate in Jaipur. Other cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh, and Lucknow, saw 8.50%, 5%, 5.75%, 6.50%, and 5% respectively.
The performance varied throughout the day, with notable peaks during afternoon and evening shows across several regions. In Mumbai, for instance, the morning shows witnessed 5% occupancy, which increased to 10% during night shows.
Ruslaan features Aayush Sharma, Sushrii Mishraa, Jagapathi Babu, and Vidya Malvade. Released on April 26, the film follows Ruslaan (Aayush Sharma), who seeks to break free from his father’s terrorist legacy and secure a permanent position in India’s elite intelligence agency, RAW. However, his unwavering commitment to justice often plunges him into unforeseen and perilous predicaments.
