Mumbai: It is no secret that MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina are close friends. They have known each other for over two decades now. And hence, it was no surprise to see Raina helping his friend, who was limping after the IPL match at Wankhede on Sunday. Raina was helping Dhoni as the ex-CSK skipper was limping. Dhoni has been carrying a troubled knee since last IPL and that is being looked at as the big reason for him retiring from IPL after this season.

At the Wankhede on Sunday night, Dhoni rolled back the years as he hammered a hattrick of sixes of the first three balls he faced in his innings. Hardik Pandya was at the receiving end. CSK eventually won the game by 20 runs and it seemed it was Dhoni’s four-ball 20 that made all the difference in the end.
Chennai have now played six games and won four of them to find themselves in the third spot in the points table. On the other hand, following the loss, MI have now won two games from six matches. MI are currently at the eighth spot in the leader’s race.
